Honda Civic - Should I sell it or keep it?

I think I have posted this before. I have given deep thoughts if I decide to sell my "show-winning" Honda Civic. It has been sitting in the garage (and collecting dust) for over a year now. I've put a lot of work into it so it's hard to let go. I was attached to my "sweetcivic" :) Feeling indecisive. Here are the basic details:

- Reason for selling: to pay off the new car
- Year: 1994, Model: 4-door Honda Civic EX
- Japanese Spec
- Manual 5-speed
- Color: Turquois/aqua
- Mileage reading: 188,720km
- Engine: 1999 Integra Type-R
- no A/C, but have the parts
- Winter tires included (good tread)
- great condition, always kept clean
- no leaks
- maintenance always kept up-to-date
- no major accidents
- have all the receipts for work done
- needs a new battery
- Asking: $6000

I am still into the car scene, but don't really have the time to participate in much of the events/shows with the Civic. Until our little Brandon is older, car stuff & car hobby should be a little more fun again.

My own copy of Utherworlds Graphic Novel

Yay! My copy of the limited edition of Utherworlds (Art of Philip Straub) has finally arrived in my mail today. I had pre-ordered it months ago. The postman delivered it in person for this special delivery. I opened it up immediately and couldn't wait to view the amazing graphics. Inside I find the certificate of authenticity and my copy is book #002 in a series of 100. I was also umong the first 20 to pre-order so I got the full soundtrack.

This 10" x 15" fantasy graphic novel based on the Utherworlds universe shows Philip Straub's beatiful artwork and story that truly takes your breath away.

In his dedication page of the book, he wrote:
"What you are holding in your hands would not have been possible without the many important people in my life. It is a project that grew with the creative ambitions of all those involved and for their contributions I'm eternally grateful. An extra special thanks goes to my wonderful wife, Monica, for her love, support and belief in me. Warm thanks to my mom, dad, and sister for all their love and encouragement. A debt of gratitude goes to Mark Stefanowicz for his friendship. Finally, thanks to Mark Snoswell and the Ballistic team for making this unique project a reality."

-- Philip Straub

High Seas (Digital Painting & Photo-Manipulation)

Here is a digital painting and photo-manipulation using Photoshop CS4 (first artwork using the CS4). This is a contest entry that I've submitted to mizzd-stock on DeviantArt. Since it is a contest, it gave me motivation to create the artwork. As promised, here is my latest fantasy artwork.

Rainbow Rose

I was looking thru flowers and came across multi-colored and dyed roses. I decided to do a photo manipulation of one of my photography images. This rainbow rose is photoshopped, but there are really rainbow colored roses for real. They call it "Happy Roses"

Here's the original:

After seeing how beautifully made the rose came out, I wanted to get some for myself but none of my local florists carry it nor make it. There is a shop I found that have a website is http://www.happy-roses.com. They are located in the Netherlands. Here is the info taken from their website:

How does a Happy Rose get its special colours?

The Happy Roses are placed in special water. Different substances are dissolved in this water. The rose branch absorbs this water as part of a natural process. This is what changes the colour of the petals. What makes Happy Roses unique is that the inventor has managed to colour a few petals, for example, yellow, whilst at the same time other petals colour differently, for example, blue, orange or lilac. It even proved possible to achieve a range of different colourings in the flower, which as it were fan around one another. This resulted in these unique, colourful and cheerful roses
